Hiding a Drive Without any Software Using CMD (Command Prompt)



To HIDE any drive in your Computer You must follow the Below Steps.

1. Go to START menu And Press Run (Windows key+R).

2. In RUN Dialog box Type CMD and press Enter.

3. In Command Prompt (CMD) type DISKPART and hit the Enter button.

4. Then type LIST VOLUME and hit the Enter button.

5. Then type the Drive Letter which you want to hide SELECT VOLUME .

Ex:-
  If you want to hide volume E, type SELECT VOLUME 4 and hit Enter.
  Now the Following message will appear.
  Now follow mentioned massage will appear to you.
   Volume 4 is the selected volume.

6. After that, type REMOVE LETTER E and hit Enter.

7. Then Restart Your Computer.

To UN HIDE The Drive You Must Follow The Below Steps.


8. Go to START menu And Press Run (Windows key+R).

9. In RUN Dialog box Type CMD and press Enter.

10. In Command Prompt (CMD) type DISKPART and hit the Enter button.

11. Then type LIST VOLUME and hit the Enter button.

12. Then You must Select the Drive letter SELECT VOLUME .

Ex:-
   SELECT VOLUME 4 
   (I use 4 Because Previously i use DRIVE E to hide its volume number is 4 So i can use number 4 ).

13. ASSIGN LETTER and Hit Enter.

Ex:-
   assign letter E and hit enter
   Once again you can restart your Computer You got the all hidden drives back



Note
   Your PC doesn't lost any Valuable data 
   By Hiding the drives like this.
